I am the person behind Mountain Peak Pots! I found my passion for ceramics about 10 years ago when I was in high school. Immediately, I fell in love with the art and community in the pottery world. I knew it was stuck with me forever. After leaving high school, I dove deeper into pottery and found a community studio and eventually my first teaching job! I have now been teaching for over 2 years. My studio is my happy place! I spend most my time creating and sharing my passion with others. I am truly blessed to do what I love!
My pieces are inspired by the beautiful colors found in the Rocky Mountains. My husband and I both love Colorado wildflowers, I try to incorporate similar colors in my glazes. I love using dark and speckled clay bodies, to mimic the gorgeous rock forms in the Rockies, many of which are found in Colorado!
